Gucci and The North Face was one of my favourite collaborations to come in early 2021 – and still is. It sold out almost instantly and the ‘second chapter’, due now, is tipped to be just as popular.
It got me thinking about other amazing collaborations that are happening now – all of which I predict to be just as popular, and will sell out just as quickly.
Manolo Blahnik teams up with Birkenstock (Part 2 dropping soon)
I talk a lot about cult classics here on the blog and Birkenstock is a brand that falls firmly into the category of ‘cult-faves’. There was exciting news earlier this year when they teamed up for a glamorous makeover with Manolo Blahnik and now fashionistas are rejoicing because part 2 of the collab is dropping right about now!
The first drop saw resale values of over £1,000 so you better get in there quickly because this second drop is tipped to be just as difficult to buy.
Clockwise from top:
- BIRKENSTOCK 1774 x Manolo Blahnik Arizona embellished velvet slides, £560
- MANOLO BLAHNIK X BIRKENSTOCK ARIZONA PVC SANDALS, £330
- Manolo Blahnik x Birkenstock Arizona sandal, £565
- BIRKENSTOCK 1774x Manolo Blahnik Rodra polka-dot calf hair sandals£ 350

Johnstons of Elgin x Sabina savage
ohnstons of Elgin has announced the launch of The Great Exhibition Scarf which has been produced in collaboration with Sabina Savage. Inspired by The Great Exhibition, an international exhibition hosted in 1851 by Henry Cole and Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, the collaborative collection features a tapestry design which includes landmarks such as The Crystal Palace, former home of The Great Exhibition, and Big Ben.
The design features on two styles of scarf, a lighter scarf which is comprised of 78% cashmere and 22% silk (£399) and the heavier scarf which is created from 71% cashmere and 29% merino wool (£499).
Temperley London x LOCI
Vegan sneaker brand LOCI has teamed up with Temperley London for a superb range of limited-edition sneakers.
The capsule collection features two Temperley London animal print looks and act as the first reimagining of the trademark classic ‘clean colour’ LOCI designs. The sneakers also feature a lace bar and come in either black or cream. Priced at £160, they’re great all year round.
Nike + JACQUEMUS
They follow a belief that sport isn’t simply about performance, it is also an expansion of style and self. I couldn’t agree more, especially when a great outfit makes you feel so much more motivated to actually go and work out.
Following Supreme‘s 2017 collab, Jacquemus brings the Humara model out of hibernation for the French brand’s first-ever Nike collaboration.
Jacquemus, his eponymous brand, is Nike’s latest female-focused collaborative partner. Together, their aim is to invigorate celebration of the multidimensionality of contemporary athletes. Merging Nike’s performance acumen with Jacquemus’ approach to fit, the collection redefines summer “ready-to-wear”—comfortable anywhere, anytime.
While the collection is a little too ‘out there’ for me, I predict it’ll be huge among the Jacquemus cult followers.
Adidas x Gucci
I met Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele at GQ Men Of The Year Awards a few years ago and watched as he gave an acceptance speech. He’s as interesting in real life as he is creatively.
This new collection sees both heritages encoded in a trio of lines, where adidas and Gucci combine archival pieces. Silhouettes inspired by collegiate style unfold through a nostalgic color palette and reimagined sports clubs’ uniforms.
The jacquard shorts are my favourite!
